STEVE LUKATHER - (Guitar Artist, member of TOTO)
I was a student of Dick Groves and received invaluable knowledge. It was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.
MUNDELL LOWE - (Jazz Guitar Recording and Concert Artist, Teacher)
The best music education in America today.
ALLEN AYERS (Beyond Chops, Part 1)
In Beyond Chops, Dana Rasch has put together the most modern and comprehensive guitar program available today. This new approach has done exactly what I hoped it would do for me. It has filled in the holes in my playing including increased technical skills, improvisation, and a much greater use of the neck in all keys.
If you are a serious guitarist, no matter at what level, and unable to attend an expensive music school, this new program is the best there is in a home study course. I highly recommend it!

This is a fantastic course! I cant say enough good things about it --- except get it!!! The level of my musicianship is going beyond just playing better. I see the fretboard exploding daily! Section Two was a real challenge. Ive known scale shapes for years but didnt know how to connect them until now!! I am very pleased with my progress. Daily practice along with the Workbook and m y role in a cover band as the guitar player has brought me from the guy always asking questions to the guy answering questions! Thanks, Dana!

Promises, promises! Thats all I got for twenty years. Dana Rasch puts guitar training in a whole new light. When you get through you have your own method to teach yourself, it is revolutionary! Its like having a chemistry set for guitar, youre back in control of your playing, and growth. I would even say that if youre interested in learning and developing as a musician and guitarist and you dont take this course, you should burn your guitar and take up knitting!

I want to thank you for allowing me to get a first-rate music education. I have always worked very hard searching out material to help me understand music, only to find I had learned bits and pieces that I had no idea how to apply. I truly hope you realize that you gave me a place to start from and build upon, and what this means to me. I look forward to completing the Beyond Chops 1 course and then starting Beyond Chops 2.
Your music program has made a huge change in every aspect of music in my life and I feel honored to be one of your students! Thank you again for everything you have done for me.

I wanted to tell you that I am very encouraged with what I see thus far from Beyond
Chops 1. I have been able to go into practically any music store for the past 5 years and with few exceptions, and not be able to find anything out there that I hadnt seen before. The market is glutted with rehashes, but none of them, with the exception of Grossmans RPG method, have ever really seemed to put in the time that it takes to put forth a method that really teaches anything other than a bunch of memorized scales/licks, with no conceptualization of how everything works together! There is no reason for me to think that once I start your See It - Hear It / Hear It - Play It that I wont be just as happy. I have every intention of at *least* taking all the See It levels and Beyond Chops, and possible even more after that. For the first time in a long time that I can remember.
I am actually jazzed to pick up the guitar again, dreaming and anticipating about learning things that will take my playing where Ive never even dreamed it would go. From the word go, everyone, including yourself and Dana, have all lived up to what you have advertised and then some. In this day and age, that can only help your cause. Dana just spent 20 minutes on the phone with me on three questions! You and I have talked at least 4 or 5 times. Any logistical problems have also been handled very efficiently. No one there is doing a cookie cutter job with the students. I really appreciate that. I will be more than pleased to continue with your programs as far as they take me, as long as you are doing such a quality job in all phases, both in the content of the curriculum and the support of your students. I think becoming a student of your school was the best thing I could do for my guitar playing. I will tell every one of my friends unequivocally that you are the best instruction I have ever seen!

This is an excellent course. My visualization of the guitar neck is getting stronger every day. I play guitar for a living so I have a lot of time to spend on this course. Its great to know that each time I sit down to practice Im getting the most out of my practice time. About two years ago I studied for about 10 months at the Atlanta Institute of Music. I have already gotten more out of this course than I did the whole time I was there.
